Andrew Fairlie to Serve Up Big Scottish Breakfast
to Entrepreneurs in Perth
Michelin star chef Andrew Fairlie, owner of Fairlie's at the Gleneagles Hotel & Resort will join the business networking group Bacon Eggs & Entrepreneurs to open their fourth Big Scottish Breakfast speed networking event at the Perth Concert Hall on 20th June.
Tricia Fox, managing director of Bacon Eggs & Entrepreneurs explained, "We are delighted to have Andrew on board again to open the second of what are fast becoming Bacon Eggs & Entrepreneur's flagship events. As a brand, we have a great affinity with food as well as with business and Andrew's success as a chef and entrepreneur in Scotland is world renowned."
The Big Scottish Breakfast event is the fourth event of its kind in Scotland, and has attracted national level sponsorship from Bank of Scotland, o2 and Business Gateway. The group is looking to attract 220 delegates, guaranteeing they will meet 60 business contacts in the space of 3 ½ hours (and be back at their desks in time for lunch!).
Evidence suggests that the Perth based company is the only networking organisation in the world to be running speed networking business events on this scale.
Tricia explained, "There is a real art to running these events on a larger scale. There are plenty of organisations throughout the UK and beyond doing it with 20-30 people, but we have perfected the process over the last two years to ensure that we maximise our delegates time while also delivering an event that is fun, fast and, most importantly, good for business."
The group which is owned and run by Perth woman Tricia Fox has also seen a sp-egg-tacular increase in its membership during the last twelve months, and recently opened branches in Inverness, Aberdeen and Livingston with plans to expand the network to Newcastle in April 2006.
