Charlie Taylor Wins Training & Development Star Chamber Award
Charlie Taylor Hair Health & Beauty were announced winners of the Training & Development Star Award 2005 at a black tie event held annually by Perthshire Chamber of Commerce in November 2005.
Judges praised the company's attention to people development, in particular its strong links with hairdressing colleges across the UK and its dedicated Charlie Taylor Academy at Elmwood College in Fife.
Charlie has long been a supporter of developing standards in the hairdressing trade both home and abroad.
Charlie Taylor to be Inducted into UK Hairdressing Hall of Fame
As a result of claiming the title Scottish Hairdresser of the Year for the
third time at the prestigious awards back in November, Charlie Taylor will be
the third female hairdresser ever to be admitted to the UK Hairdressing Hall of
Fame in her own right.
The honour, which will see Charlie take her place amongst such household
names as Trevor Sorbie, Andrew Collinge and Nicky Clarke, has only previously
been awarded to 24 hairdressers in the UK.
TRESemmé Signs Scottish Hairdresser of the Year to Front Latest Campaign
Charlie Taylor has been selected to front the latest advertising campaign for the professional, affordable hair care brand, TRESemmé.
Charlie will appear in a series of commercials promoting TRESemmé's new Freeze Hold Hairspray and the new range of TRESemmé electrical appliances which includes hairdryers, curling tongs and
straighteners.
Charlie commented on the campaign, "It has been a real pleasure working with the TRESemmé team on the campaign. Our whole salon team are very excited at the prospect of the campaign airing on national television. "
Charlie Taylor Customers Raise Money in Style
Charlie Taylor customers raised a whopping £685 for Tayside charity Caring for Kids, during the company's annual Christmas shopping events.
Radio Tay's Alastair Brookes said, "We'd like to thank Charlie Taylor and all her customers who attended the Christmas events, for making their contribution to what is a very worthwhile and rewarding charitable cause."
