Gavi di Gavi Raccolto Tardivo 2006, Italy
The village of Gavi in Piedmont stakes its reputation on its characteristically firm, ripe and steely dry style of white wine made from the local Cortese grape. This wine, however, is made using only carefully picked late harvest grapes to create richer and more engaging characteristics.

Pouilly - Fumé 'Les Ferrées' 2006, Marcel Sautejeau, Loire

Wyndhams Bin 555 Shiraz, 2004

Rioja Reserva 2003, Marqués de la Concordia
2001 was an exceptionally good vintage in Rioja. Drought in the previous year meant reduced yields, resulting in incredibly intense fruit flavours in the grapes. This Reserva shows complex aromas of ripe fruit, cedar and spice, which develop into a smooth, velvety palate with powerful dark fruit flavours, hints of coffee and an almost chocolatety richness. Excellent with lamb.

Pinot Noir La Grille 2005, VDQS St. Pourcain
Made by Jacques Vigier, director of the celebrated local Cave, this Pinot Noir comes from the stony foothills of the Massif Central. Fresh intensity of redcurrant and spice flavours show just how good value and quality the grape is capable of in the Loire. Ideally served very slightly chilled, it is delicious on it’s own or with white meat dishes, salads and fresh pasta.
