Search for Perthshire’s Top Businesses
The search is on for Perthshire’s top businesses, as
Perthshire Chamber of Commerce invites entries for the
2007 Business Star Awards, sponsored by Bank of Scotland.
These prestigious annual awards give recognition to the area’s top businesses and the winners will be announced at a gala awards ceremony at Crieff Hydro Hotel, on Thursday 22 November 2007.
Chamber past President, Alastair Dorward, said, “Winners of the Business Star Awards will be recognised as the best in the area, and benefit from all of the exposure that comes with that accolade.”
There are eight categories which local businesses are encouraged to enter.
- New Business Award
- Customer Service Award sponsored by Highland Spring Ltd
- Training & Development Award
- Retail Award sponsored by Symphony Hotels & Leisure Ltd
- Creative Award
- Tourism & Hospitality Award sponsored by VisitScotland
- Marketing Award sponsored by Gordon’s Cleaning of Perth
- Business in the Community Award
The winner in each category will receive an award trophy and will go forward to compete for the Bank of Scotland trophy and the coveted title of Perthshire Business of the Year 2007. The winner of this title will also be announced at the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner on Thursday, 22 November.
Entry to the awards is free and open to everyone –
it is not restricted to Chamber members.
Entry deadline is 10 September 2007
