A small book with a big message. Quick, punchy and humorous, this is a book for our times. Co Author of the "One Minute Manager" series and written in a similar style this author has a remarkable insight into how we work, play and cope with life; in short he knows what he is talking about!
He has turned this insight into a remarkable book that describes how we humans cope with change at work, at home and in the wider community. More importantly his method of delivery is simple, down to earth and by clever use of caricatures that we can all identify with, he delivers a message which is both profound yet easy to understand and relate to.
The book offers a key number of poignant guidelines on how to deal with change, how to anticipate it, adapt quickly, and build new attitudes within ourselves to cope with change with less stress and anxiety.
The level of change that we all experience in our daily lives can at times seem bewildering, frightening, and intimidating, especially in our place of work. For employers and employees alike, this book will give the reader an opportunity to understand and share the real responses and real emotional feelings that we all experience during periods of upheaval.
"Cheese" in the title of this book is a metaphor for all those things in life that we desire, happiness, money, security, promotion, and stability but to name a few. Change can, and does have an uncanny knack of eroding, threatening most of the things we desire and strive for. "Who Moved My Cheese" gets to grips with these issues, and can add real insight into how to deal with, and manage your approach to change for the better.
